EE lags behind in the knowledge stakes

As the entry phase rolls on, on Product Mastermind- the three month quest to find the most knowledgeable company in the mobile industry, company fates are changing on the hour, every hour.

Product Mastermind, brought to you by ISellMobile and Samsung, is where staff compete to be one of four experts representing their company. Despite being one of the biggest organisations in mobile retail, EE has been stuck on the lower rungs of the ladder since the start of the competition.

While Vodafone, Phones 4U and 3 Retail have retained their positions on the podium in the past week, it is quite another story as far as EE is concerned. ‘EE really needs to get its strategy in place if they want to get to the finals of Product Mastermind,’ says David Nunn, editor in chief of Mobile. ‘It was the first off the block with 4G and this is a great way for them to show the industry that it has the best product knowledge in the business. There is still a week to go, and plenty of time to enter.’

According to the Knowledge Tracker, there is a sizable gap between the top three retailers and the five lagging behind them. While Vodafone is still at the top with 47150 points, Phones 4U and 3 Retail are almost neck and neck with 40575 and 39125 points.
