Last week the operator revealed that 600 jobs were begin scrutinised during a 90 day consultation period.

Dana Strong, Virgin Media’s chief operations officer, said: ‘Jon, Graeme and Jeff have been instrumental in Virgin Media’s success to date, developing and transforming our services and I can’t thank them enough for their vast contribution. As consumers increasingly look for combined entertainment and communications bundles, we’re building a structure that will allow us to harness the combined strength of our services under a unified product strategy.
