Apple expected to reveal new iPad on 22 October
Apple is gearing up to launch its fifth generation iPad on 22 October, just a month after releasing the iPhones 5c and 5s.
According to a report at AllThingsD, the manufacturer declined to reveal the location for the event, but did the report did reveal some of the new tablet’s specs. Apple will incorporate its new 64-bit A7 chipset, while the iPhone 5s’ Touch ID fingerprint sensor will also be available on the new iPad.
The American manufacturer is also understood to reveal plans for a new Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks at the invitation-only event which will coincide with Nokia’s Innovation Reinvented showcase. Operators and retailers were left angry at the launch of the iPhone 5s last month, with stock heavily constrained compared to the 5c.
