TalkTalk Mobile is continuing its aggressive drive into the cut price market with the launch of a monthly Sim-only deal for £3.50.
The MVNO claims the Sim-only plan is the cheapest mobile deal on the market. The deal includes 100 minutes, 250 texts and 100MB of data.
It has been launched alongside a refresh of its existing plans which sees the Medium tariff offer more inclusive minutes and text messages while its Large price plans offer unlimited calls and text for the first time as well as up to 4GB of data every month.
TalkTalk customers will see minutes on the Medium plan rise from 300 to 500 with texts on the Medium plan up from 3,000 to unlimited. Meanwhile the upgrade sees minutes on the Large plan up from 1000 to unlimited with texts up from 3000 to unlimited. The MVNO is also promising double the data to customers that sign up online.
Dan Meader from TalkTalk said: ‘A big appeal of TalkTalk Mobile is our firm value for money position. We offer some of the most premium handsets available for the most competitive price.
'Our new tariffs are centered around having more time to chat, text and surf the net without paying a penny extra. With more handsets than people out there, our SIM only price plans are perfect for people who want to keep their current handset or hand it down to their children, without having to take a pricey contract. We want people to have more choice and flexibility.’
