4G war hots up with new Vodafone and EE plans
The battle for 4G supremacy has hotted up with Vodafone extending its offer of an extra 4GB to 4G customers until next year.
The announcement comes on the day rival EE launched a welter of new 4G products, including a £18.99 per month tariff, prepay 4G and larger data bundles. Until the end of January, Vodafone will offer customers unlimited data for three months, then give them double the data allowance for standard Vodafone Red plans, along with the extra 4GB of data. Plans start at £26 per month for a two year Sim-only plan, with two year contract and handset bundles being priced from £34 per month.
Vodafone brought 4G to Scotland this week, turning on next generation services across Glasgow. Edinburgh residents and businesses will get 4G from 21 November.
