Phones 4u is getting ready for the Christmas season by launching a new advertising campaign tonight.
The theme of the campaign is customers 'getting more than they bargained for' and will feature the voice of comedian David Mitchell. The adverts will be seen across TV, print, social media and in store, and will highlight various offers the retailer has in the lead up to the festive season. It will run alongside Phones 4u's successful #projectupgrade campaign, which will also be updated for Christmas. Four televised commercials will air across Channel 4, MTV, ITV2, Sky 1 and Sky 2 tonight, and will continue through November and December.
Offers promoted include free wireless speakers worth £120 for signing up to a 4G contract. Customers will also have the chance to win a prize from £1m worth of products, including Sony or Samsung televisions, tablets or tickets to the Phones 4u Arena with a scratch card initiative.
Caspar Nelson, head of brand communication at Phones 4u, said: ‘The new campaign builds on our continued drive to offer our customers an extensive range of mobile phone and gifting offers, allowing them to treat themselves or others during the Christmas period. It also allows us to continue to position Phones 4u as the top mobile retail destination on the high street this festive season.’
