O2 goes live with 4G mobile broadband plans
O2 has revealed pricing on its 4G plans for tablets and laptops, with 3GB of data per month for £15.
The operator is offering consumers one month free data allowance for those who sign up to the month plan. In addition to the 3GB plan, consumers can sign up to the 5GB plan for £25 per month. If they sign up to the 5GB plan before the end of February 2014, they get an extra 3GB per month. O2 is selling bolt-ons of 1GB for £10 if a consumer runs low on data. Alternatively, they can buy a one-off top-up of 5GB for £30 across 90 days of usage.
O2 will sell the plans for use with devices such as the Google Nexus 7 and Samsung Tab 3, as well as with 4G dongles like the £50 ZTE MF823 and Huawei E8278 device, priced £65.
