Doro receives Google accreditation

Doro has received accreditation by Google for its devices to run the Android operating system.

The Google Mobile Services certification comes as the manufacturer continues the rollout of its second Android device, the Doro Liberto 810. The accreditation means that Doro can preload devices with the likes of Google Play, Google Maps and Google Search.

Thomas Bergdahl, vice-president of product development at Doro, said: 'This is a significant step forward for Doro as a globally recognised consumer technology brand.  It means we are now a Google approved Android device manufacturer and presents us with many opportunities. This milestone is also further recognition of our market leading status within the easy segment of the mobile industry.'
