The CEO of AT&T, which has been linked with a move for Vodafone, has joined the keynote speakers at next year's Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Randall Stephenson joined the likes of Telenor CEO Jon Fredrik Baksaas, Alcatel-Lucent CEO Michel Combes and Citigroup CEO Michael Corbat on the list of speakers. Other recent additions to the schedule are Virginia Rometty, CEO of IBM, Lance Howarth, CEO of cut-price computing firm Raspberry Pi, Michael Abbott, CEO of Isis and Robert Bakish, CEO of Viacom.
Michael O'Hara, chief marketing officer of the GSMA, said: 'The wide range of companies represented in the Mobile World Congress keynote programme is reflective of just how broad the impact of mobile is in our everyday lives. The 2014 Mobile World Congress will take place beteen 24 and 27 February at Fira Gran Via in Barcelona.
