Samsung lifts lid on Galaxy Core Advance

Samsung has revealed the latest device in its Galaxy portfolio, the Galaxy Core Advance.

The device will be available in the UK, although the Korean manufacturer did not reveal a release date. The handset is said to 'combine the Galaxy user experience with enhanced features', such as Optical Scan, a system that automatically recognises text and reads it aloud. The Core Advance also contains a camera with light sensing technology as well as an instant voice recorder.

Also incorporated in the 4.7 inch display device is a range of 'smart features' including S Voice, S Translator, Sound and Shot, Group Play and Easy Mode. It has a 1.2 GHz Dual Core processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal memory, upgradable to 64GB. The handset will run Android Jelly Bean and will be available in the colours of Deep Blue and Pearl White.
