EE has announced the hotly anticipated LG G Flex smartphone will be on display in selected retail stores from Friday (20 December).
Ten stores across the UK will allow customers to experience the ground-breaking device. Stores in Kent, Manchester, Nottingham, Brighton, Cambridge, Merry Hill and Sheffield will display the phone. Stores in Westfield Stratford, Westfield White City and Oxford Street will be the London locations for the demo models. The device will be launched with the UK's largest network in February 2014.
EE director of devices Sharon Meadows said: ‘LG is renowned for its technical innovation so we’re pleased to be working with them to bring the G Flex to UK consumers. The G Flex is perfectly optimised to take advantage of our unique double-speed 4G network and will provide users with an immersive viewing experience so they can make the most out of watching video on the go.’
LG head of mobile UK, Andy Coughlin, added: ‘There’s been so much excitement about the LG G Flex since we announced it in October, so we’re thrilled to be working with 4G pioneers EE, to bring it to UK consumers. This really is an innovative handset, which shows how LG is once again leading the way in mobile phone design and technology. Looking ahead, the LG G Flex also points the way for some of the most exciting developments in technology over the next few years, as phones become increasingly adapted to their users.’
