Daisy subject of £500m-plus bid by Liberty Global
Virgin Media parent company Liberty Global is reportedly in talks to acquire the Daisy Group.
According to Sky News, the umbrella company of O2 Centre of Excellence Partner Daisy Distribution is subject of a £500m-plus bid by the American firm, although talks have reportedly broken down in the last few days due to value disagreements.
The company owned by British businessman Matt Riley may be under pressure from the Takeover Panel to disclose details of discussions if share prices move.
Sky reports that both Liberty Global and Daisy declined to comment, while it's unclear if the talks will be revived.
