Doro has ramped up its marketing strategy with a new television advertising campaign beginning today (1 April).
The campaign will focus on its Liberto 810 easy-to-use smartphone and will continue through to 20 April. The adverts will be aired during daytime slots on Channel 4, Channel 5, ITV, ITV3, 5US, Yesterday and Alibi, and for selected evening slots on ITV1 and Channel 5.
The Swedish manufacturer hopes the campaign will drive sales to retail partners EE, Phones 4u, O2, Carphone Warehouse and Argos.
Hugh Bonneville, star of Downton Abbey, voices the advert which demonstrates key features of the phone, such as making videos, sending emails, playing games and checking the weather, for people buying a smartphone for the first time.
Doro UK and Ireland MD, Chris Millington, said: ‘Targeted TV advertising is the perfect opportunity for us to show our user group how easy it is to buy our smartphone and feature phones. This is our fifth TV campaign to support our ever-growing retail and network operator presence and demonstrates our commitment to drive both our brand and the easy mobile category.’
