Two from Toshiba
Toshiba has made its first foray into the smartphone market with two Windows powered devices.
The manufacturer has unveiled two models; the PORTÉGÉ G500 and the PORTÉGÉ G900.
The PORTÉGÉ G500 , available in quarter two, is a compact slider that supports push email functionality and is WiFi and HSDPA enabled. The PORTÉGÉ G900 has a similar specification but adds a full qwerty keyboard, and will be one of the first handsets on the market to run on the newest version of Windows Mobile, version 6. It will be available in quarter three.
Both handsets also feature a fingerprint security feature, which enables the user to security lock information.
