OneCom wins Vodafone Partner of the Year 2014

OneCom has won Vodafone 2014 Partner of the Year award for the fourth successive year.

The Platinum Partner was awarded the accolade at Vodafone’s fourth Partner of the Year Awards ceremony last night which was held at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester.

Vodafone also awarded a new title - Total Communications Partner of the Year – which went to CommsXchange.The new award recognises partner performance across its total communications portfolio.

Other winners included Connect Telecom, which won Gold Partner of the Year and Your Company Mobiles, which won Silver Partner of the Year.

One Net Partner of the Year was won by PMGC Technology Group. Meanwhile Italk won Fixed Partner of the Year and Eison was awarded with the title of Fixed Data and Internet Partner of the Year.

Vodafone said the awards aim to recognise partners who exhibit the highest level of performance capability and skills and who have helped create the best customer experience between 1 April 2013 and 31 March 2014.

Rob Mukherjee, head of Vodafone Partner Services at Vodafone UK said: ‘The Vodafone Partner of the Year Awards is a clear demonstration of our commitment to our channel partners as we place them at the heart of our strategy for the coming year. Last night’s awards rewarded the best in class partners with the recognition they deserve for their continued focus on supporting British businesses to find new and better ways of working, and securing Vodafone’s position as a leading total communications provider.’

The first partners to be awarded Vodafone’s new Solutions Pioneer accreditation were also announced at the Awards ceremony. Launched on 1 April 2014  it is aimed at partners  selling across its total communications portfolio. The first three accredited firms are CommsXchange, Connect Telecom and Redsquid.

Rob Mukherjee said: ‘We want to enable our partners to focus on the things that really matter – driving converged technologies, helping customers to find better ways of working and providing a fantastic customer experience. We also want to support our partners to be the best channel to market for our total communications portfolio, as we know this is what customers want.’
