O2 has extended its online ordering deadline to 10pm for standard next-day deliveries. Customers can now place orders on O2’s online store for phones and tablets up to the later time for free next-day delivery.
By extending the order deadline to 10pm, O2 said it expects over 3,000 customers to benefit from earlier deliveries each week. The new order deadline applies to orders placed through the online shop for items that are in stock at the time of ordering.
Tete Soto, general manager for online at O2, said the company knows that convenience and immediacy are key factors when shopping online, and that customers want to enjoy their new devices as soon as possible.
‘Traditionally a 10pm order deadline has been limited to a handful of retailers, especially in fashion, and we are proud to be the first in our industry to offer this level of service, addressing the importance that customers place in having options that fit around their lifestyle,’ she said.
