O2 launches £3m ‘Big Bundles’ advertising campaign

O2 has launched the latest installment in its ‘Be More Dog’ television adverts, featuring O2’s new 'Big Bundles' Pay & Go tariff. The new ad shows O2’s cat in a giant 4x4 with dancers bursting out of the floor of a black and gold studio. The TV ad, featuring hip hop classic ‘Ante Up’ by MOP, will appear across a range of upcoming programmes including the season finale of 24, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Ray Donovan.

Big Bundles offers customers the choice of one of three Big Bundles costing £10, £15 or £20 per month, with each offering double the minutes, texts and data of the previous Big Bundle i.e. £10 Big Bundle: 100 minutes, 1000 texts and 500MB 3G data, £15 Big Bundle: 200 minutes, 2000 texts and 1GB 3G or 4G data and £20 Big Bundle: 400 minutes, 4000 texts and 2GB 3G or 4G data. The £15 and £20 options also include 4G for no extra cost, dependent on 4G coverage and handset type.

'We have a strong history of innovation in the Pay & Go market, having created a range of market-leading tariffs and offers for our customers,' said Phil Maple, general manager for consumer at O2. 'Our Big Bundles give customers complete flexibility and control over how much they spend, as well as allowing them to do more with 4G included at no extra cost.'

The new TV ad is part of a £3m launch campaign for Big Bundle - it also features radio, online display advertising and gaming.
