P4u and iPhone cause September retail footfall rise

Figures from research firm Ipsos Retail Performance has shown a footfall levels rose 8.2% (on 2013) in phones stores following the demise of Phones 4u and the launch of the iPhone. The results are in stark contrast to the total figure which was down 1.7% on September 2013 and down 7.4% month-on-month.

The survey is derived from the number of individual shoppers entering over 4,000 non-food retail stores across the UK.
