No Q for UK
Motorola's Q is unlikely to reach the UK, sources have told Mobile.
The handset was originally slated for a launch in October. However, according to sources close to the manufacturer, it has decided not to bring the handset to the UK market. It will instead concentrate its efforts on promoting next year's range of business devices, promising more advanced functionality.
In the USA, Motorola has put considerable marketing efforts behind the Q. It has reportedly been selling well since it was launched earlier this summer, and the manufacturer is hoping it will do the same for its business sales as the RAZR did for its position on the consumer market.
The device is said to be thinnest QWERTY handset in the world at 11.5mm. It is also one of the first Motorola devices to run on Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0.
