Nokia will release three new handsets for the mid-range market.
The Nokia 6267 includes a music player and two cameras, one boasting two megapixels and an 8x digital zoom. This flip phone has a large keypad and high resolution screen, and can support up to 4GB of expandable memory. The handset has up to 6.5 hours of talktime and up to 12.5 days of standby time. It’s a 3G device so users can download files, browse the internet and make video calls.
The second handset, the Nokia 3500 classic, will be available in a range of colours with a metal frame around the. The 3500 comes with an FM radio, two-megapixel camera and space for 2,000 contacts. It offers up to three hours of talktime and up to 12 days of standby.
Completing the trio is the Nokia 6121 classic. The compact smartphone is a quad-band device and features a two-megapixel and 4x digital zoom device. It is a 3G phone and has a second camera on the front for video calling. A data transfer application allows users to transfer contacts, calendars, photos, videos and files from their previous Nokia handset to their new phone.
All three handsets are scheduled for release in Q3.
