Mobile can exclusively reveal that LG’s G4 handset will be stocked by all the major UK retailers, after the manufacturer reached an agreement with EE. It’s the first time in a number of years that LG has been stocked by the complete set of mobile retailers. The new flagship devices will be in the stores of the UK’s biggest network in the coming weeks.
Last month, Exertis was revealed as the exclusive distributor of the device, which received positive reviews at its launch at the end of May. LG stated it ‘put the user at the heart of the G4’ and hoped that the smartphone would appeal to consumer and business customers, with the manufacturer seeking out partnerships with companies such as Google in order to enhance the overall user experience.
Andrew Coughlin, head of mobile at LG Electronics for the UK and Ireland, said that the G4 ‘has everything anyone could need, from comfortable elegance with the stylish design, to a great visual experience, which is what users today demand and deserve.
‘Over time smartphones have become slabs of ?at metal. We wanted to create a smartphone that was more natural than that. This isn’t about chasing after technology for technology’s sake; this is about innovation for a better life.’
