Samsung boasts thin record
Samsung has unveiled a new range of handsets under the Ultra sub-brand, which it claims to be the thinnest phones ever.
The Ultra 9.9 is a (you guessed it) 9.9mm slim clamshell device boasting a 2 megapixel camera, expandable memory and a 2.3" screen. The Ultra 12.9 is a similarly specced slider boasting a 3 megapixel camera and support for Bluetooth stereo headsets. The Ultra 6.9 is a candybar device that packs in a 2 megapixel camera, 80MB of memory and an onboard music player despite a thickness of only 6.9mm.
All three devices will hit the Asian market later this year. There has been no confirmation of a European release.
