Voting begins for the 15th annual Mobile Choice Awards

Voting has now opened for the 15th annual Mobile Choice Consumer Awards 2015, with a of number big name manufacturers going head-to-head across the major categories.

The awards recognises the best smartphones, tablets, retailers and mobile networks over the past 12 months.

Sunetra Chakravarti, Mobile Choice editor, explained that the ‘vintage year’ in mobile has been led by ‘hugely desirable’ products from a range of mobile heavyweights.

She said: ‘The Mobile Choice Consumer Awards is the public’s chance to vote for their favourite gadgets, networks and retailers. The past 12 months will go down as a vintage year for smartphones, tablets, wearables and connected gadgets.

‘Heavyweights Apple, Samsung, Sony, HTC and LG have all given us a range of hugely desirable flagships products. Not only that, but manufacturers like Motorola and Microsoft have proved how even consumers on a tight budget can bag themselves a quality handset. It’s been an incredible year for consumer tech and we can’t wait to find out which products and services our readers think should come out on top.’

Manufacturers will compete for best design, best camera phone, most innovative device, phone of the year and tablet of the year. Consumers will also choose the best mobile network for customer experience, as well as best value phone and tablet.
