New Nokias
Nokia has announced four new phones to be launched in the New Year.

The Nokia 6300 is a slim bar phone, made from stainless steel and measuring in at a width of 13.1mm. It includes a two megapixel camera, MP3 player and FM radio, and is expected to retail at around £170 Sim-free.

The Nokia 6290 is a 3G smartphone incorporating Symbian 3rd edition software, a two megapixel camera and MP3 player. It looks similar in design to the popular 6136 model launched earlier this summer. It will retail for around £230 Sim-free.

The 6086 supports UMA technology, meaning it can be used as a VoiP handset that will switch from a mobile network to WLAN coverage where it is available. It’s a clamshell phone with an onboard VGA camera, and is expected to retail at around £142 Sim-free.

The 2626 is an entry level handset whose main selling point lies in its bold colour variants, to include Fiery Red and Spatial Blue. It will retail for around £50 Sim-free.

All four handsets will be available in the UK during Q1 2007.
