Doro has announced that John Lewis, Tesco, Argos and Vodafone will stock its latest smartphone.
The Doro Liberto 820 Mini device is aimed at helping these users switch from feature phones to smartphones. The device will cater to the 53% of senior users that, Doro claim, prefer to upgrade to a smartphone as their next mobile purchase.
Chris Millington, MD of Doro UK and Ireland commented: ‘We have developed this smartphone, as there is a need for a device that is intuitive to someone who has never used a smartphone before.
‘Easy-to-use, accessible & sensitively-designed technology can help to include everyone in the digital revolution. Age should certainly not be a barrier for smartphone adoption. We are therefore pleased to have listings across a stellar line of UK retailers for this handset.'
The announcement follows Doro’s push into the UK feature phone market after its Doro PhoneEasy 508 was recently listed with Vodafone and EE.
