Exclusive: It’s Francis for franchise at EE

EE has confirmed Horace Francis as the operator’s new head of franchise. He takes up
the post on a permanent basis following the departure of interim chief Suzanne Homewood, who left to join Samsung as enterprise sales director, having been in the role for a year.

Francis’ previous role at EE was head of trading for corporate business. He has been within the organisation for a number of years, having previously worked at T-Mobile.

The head of franchise has been a tough job in recent years, with numerous delays in the rollout of franchise stores, and dropouts from its partner programme. However, Homewood appears to have succeeded in her task of steadying the ship during her spell in charge, with few stories of discontent in recent months.
