Predictive text gets an upgrade
The soon to be launched Samsung i320 will be the first handset to feature an improved predictive text system.
Samsung has signed up with Tegic Communications, creators of the T9 predictive text system, to roll out XT9 across its handset range. The software uses similar predictive features to T9, but is tailored for smartphones by allowing seamless switching between a phone keypad, QWERTY keyboard or handwriting recognition.
The Samsung i320 is expected to launch later this month.
