Lebara has announced that it will start selling insurance.
The international MVNO will partner with global insurer Allainz to provide the service which will allow customers to insure themselves and family members abroad.
The service has been described by Lebara as designed to ‘meet the needs of migrants and their families globally’.
Lebara been very active in rolling out additional non-mobile services to its customers. The brand launched its Lebara Play TV service last year offering customers the access to television from a range of international TV channels.
Lebara believes that the allowing customers to insure their family members abroad will be a key differentiator for its insurance service.
