Vodafone UK consumer director Cindy Rose has stepped down, Mobile can confirm.
Rose joined the network in 2013, having previously spent almost four years working for Virgin Media where she oversaw the launch of TiVo and Virgin TV Anywhere.
Vodafone Greece chief executive Glafkos Persianis will now take over from Rose, overseeing her consumer responsibilities alongside commercial operations, which will include call centres and customer complaints.
A spokesperson for the network said: ‘We can confirm that Glafkos Persianis has been appointed Commercial Director with accountability for the Consumer Division as well as providing oversight of our Commercial Operations Division.
‘This move is another step towards Vodafone giving customers a seamless and consistent service wherever and whenever they interact with us. Cindy Rose, currently Consumer Director, has decided to leave the business during April once an effective handover has been completed.’
CEO Jeroen Hoencamp added: ‘We're sorry to see Cindy go as she's contributed very significantly to the business over the past two and half years. We wish her all the very best in her next role.’
Rose was responsible for the launch of Vodafone Connect last year, which was seen as Vodafone’s next step into the quad play market. Speaking at the launch CEO Jeroen Hoencamp announced that the network would move to offer TV services next.
