Doro has broadened its accessories line-up to complement its latest smartphones.
The new range will include protective products, such as a bumper case, a wallet case and a pocket pouch. It will also feature accessories designed for ease of use, such as a stylus and a premium headset.
The range will initially be available direct from Doro, with plans to roll-out the products to retail and network partners. The manufacturer currently sells its handsets through John Lewis, Tesco, Argos, Vodafone and Carphone Warehouse.
Accessories distributor Gusto has previously told Mobile that as hardware costs continue to rise, accessories offer a new way for mobile brands to make money. For Doro MD Chris Millington, accessories enable the brand to improve user experience.
He commented: ‘When someone invests in a Doro smartphone, we want them to use their device safely and securely. By creating products that protect our devices we lower the chances of them being left at home as users feel they can take their handset out and about with confidence.
‘It’s more than just protection though…our in-house design team has worked hard to develop these accessories to enhance the overall user experience. For example, a case that doubles as a wallet, can really transform how our customers actually use their devices on a daily basis.’
