Anywhere Sim has agreed a deal with Argos for the retailer to sell the MVNO’s SIMs.
The virtual network attempts to differentiate itself by offering a SIM that roams across the Vodafone, EE and O2 networks in order to get the best signal.
Securing Argos as its first national retail listing represents a major coup for Anywhere Sim having only launched 7 months ago.
Argos revealed that Anywhere Sim would feature in Argos’ Autumn/Winter 2016 catalogue, which will land in stores in mid-July.
Expressing his delight at the deal Matthew Wright, CEO and Founder at Anywhere Sim said: ‘This partnership with Argos is a fantastic step for us to achieve our ambitions, affirming our multi-network concept as an ideal network choice for customers.
‘Many users throughout the UK will experience notspots and blackspots, even in cities – so, now frustrated customers can just pop down to a local Argos store or visit the website and walk away with a reliable SIM card.’
Doro tie up
Continuing its partnership with Doro Anywhere Sim will be offering Argos customers who purchase one of the senior handset manufacturer’s phones a complimentary UK roaming SIM with £5.00 of pre-loaded airtime credit.
The MVNO said that the ‘offer will strengthen the relationship and alignment between Doro and Anywhere Sim with the offer targeting a core user group for both companies – the senior audience.’
