Nokia has announced two handsets with a call-time tracking application and multi-phonebooks. The 1208 and 1200 devices have been designed for groups of people who share one mobile phone in the emerging markets.
The call tracking feature lets users manage the air-time costs, by pre-setting time or cost limits on individual calls.
Both handsets also allow each user of the handset to set up their own phonebook, with each device coming with five separate phonebooks.
The 1200 comes with a monochrome screen while the 1208 has a colour VGA screen. The 1200 will be released this quarter and will be priced at around £24 before taxes. The 1208 has a Q3 release and its price is around £27 before taxes.
