Hewlett Packard Enterprise has authorized UK IT and mobile distributor Westcoast as an Authorised Learning Partner, allowing Westcoast to give HPE sales certification to resellers.
Already running multiple Hewlett Packard Enterprise courses, the new status allows the distributor to give their partners additional training and sales certification courses in-house and on-site.
The company’s solutions director, Paul Harman explained the effect the accreditation could have for Westcoast and their resellers, ‘This is great news for both Westcoast and the channel. It means we can add a significant value to the HPE partner community. Our partners can now benefit from the best instructor-led courses in the business as they look to grow their knowledge of the HPE portfolio and related services, and increase their HPE ‘Partner Ready’ status.’
The company’s enterprise sales manager, David Martin stated about the learning partner status, ‘Only HPE Authorised Learning Partners that meet HPE’s exacting standards are allowed to deliver the approved courseware and content that meets the level of competency required to pass HPE certification exams.

HP Enterprise also praised the distributor, with their vice president of channel, alliances and services providers, Lee Hughes stating, ‘This represents a great achievement by one of our leading HPE distributors for the UK and Ireland.
