New cloud based product boosts TWL Voice and Data’s results

Cardiff based TWL Voice and Data has announced a 160% growth over the last three years, growing turnover to £2.1 million so far in 2016 and holding more clients than ever before.


The company says part of this success was down to their recently developed cloud-based telephony system TWL Hosted, which has boosted Q3 and Q4 revenues this year. However, MD Andrew Nicholson explained that the moved from fixed line to cloud based services while beneficial for clients, can require some persuading, ‘The main challenge has been convincing customers that cloud-based telephony is so much more adept to the modern business’ needs.


‘PBX systems certainly aren’t redundant but most businesses now offer a level of flexible working for staff. Whether it be for remote-based workers, staff juggling work with childcare or businesses with staff in multiple locations; businesses need to be more adaptable when it comes to the needs of staff. A cloud-based telephony product far outweighs a typical PBX system when it comes to this.’


After completing their second acquisition last year by purchasing Bridgend-based rivals JVH Communications, TWL Voice and Data also said that they are looking to make further company purchases in 2017.
