ICT service provider Bamboo Technology Group has gained ISO certifications ISO 9001:2015 in Quality Management, and ISO 27001:2013 in Information Security. It has also retained its Investors in People certification for the 12th year in a row.
MD Lorrin White (pictured) commented ‘“We are very proud to add these two major ISO certifications to our business accreditations. We have spent the last 18-24 months further investing in our people, processes and systems as part of our ambitious transformation and growth strategy and ongoing commitment to quality. It is therefore really exciting for us, and reassuring for our customers and partners, to have our systems certified as meeting strict ISO standards.’
ISO 9001:2015 is the latest revision of the International Standard for quality management systems (QMS). White comments 'In gaining this certification, Bamboo has proven best-practice to ‘consistently provide products and services that meet the needs of their customers and other relevant stakeholders’.
ISO/IEC 27001:2013 (ISO 27001) is the international standard for information security. It describes best practice for an information security management system (ISMS). Becoming certified to ISO 27001 standards demonstrates that Bamboo is following international best practices for information security. White adds 'With cyber security often listed as one of the top concerns for organisations today, ISO 27001 status will reassure Bamboo’s customers and partners of its ability to protect their data.'
Bamboo provides a full range of ICT services including fixed and mobile voice, data, hosted telephony, cloud and consultancy. The Total programme supports Bamboo’s broad channel network of partners through the Telecoms Dealer, Reseller and Wholesale and IT Reseller sectors.
The company has carried out a transformation and growth strategy in the last 18-24 months, involving streamlining of internal and customer-facing processes, the launch of new service offerings including Wholesale M2M data, investment in the development and launch of new and enhanced tools including new data monitoring and auto-barring, and establishing new supplier relationships such as its recent Service Provider agreement with Vodafone UK.
