Sony packed out its stand at MWC in Barcelona to announce the launch of four new devices including the flagship level XZ Premium alongside the XZs, and mid rangers Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra.
The XZ Premium, alongside bold 1Gps claims also boasts the world’s first 4K HDR display on its 5.5” screen, and a 960 fps rate on its newly improved camera designed in collaboration with Qualcomm.

The XZ Premium also features a 20MP rear camera with LED flash, motion-eye and anti-distortion tools. Backing up its camera credentials is 64GB of internal memory.
Carphone Warehouse is to stock the XZ Premium, while Vodafone will stock the XZ Premium and the XA1, though pricing and launch date is yet to be confirmed.
