Romford based distributor DMSL has launched broadbandandphones.co.uk – a comparison site for resellers which lists different options from multiple vendors.
The website will ‘Make it easier for resellers to offer the wide range of communications and VoIP options that are available’ according to MD John Carter. The vendors listed include BT, Gamma Virgin Media Business and Vonage, covering services including business broadband, consumer broadband, VoIP, business mobile, consumer mobile and fixed line.
Carter added, ‘There is such a multitude of options now and one of the challenges resellers have is trying to keep up-to-date with what’s available. Because there are always new services and offers being launched, the landscape is constantly moving and changing.
The www.broadbandandphones.co.uk website will always have the very latest information. That will make it much easier to see exactly what’s available and compare the different options. It will make the whole sales process easier and help resellers to sell more broadband, voice and mobile.’
Through SEO and special offers the company intends to improve online lead generation, with these leads then being distributed to the relevant partners. The comparison tool can be white labelled by DMSL’s partners in order to improve their online marketing.
The push for resellers to get online and make the most out of online marketing opportunities isn’t unique to just DMSL, with other airtime, IT and service distributors having also launched marketing tools for their partners this year. This includes Vodafone’s new portal with marketing packs the company’s director of partnerships and alliances Nick Birtwistle hopes will ‘level the playing field’ in the unified comms space. Another is Gamma’s accelerate ‘out of the box’ marketing solutions, with their head of marketing Justin Coombes stating it will advance their marketing support, ‘to the next level.’
DMSL was established over 15 years ago and works with BT, Gamma, O2, Plusnet, Virgin Media Business, Vonage, Microsoft, Plusnet, TalkTalk, Polycom and Cisco.
