Carphone Warehouse Business have restructured their dealer operations teams into dedicated O2 and EE business units, a move the company says will allow them to ‘provide a more specialist service to the dealer channel and to provide a network-focused service from building the deal through to connection.’
The restructured teams are to be lead by their head of dealer sales and marketing Carlos Pestana and service manager Simon Edwards, they in turn will be reporting in to Jim O’Hagan, Dixons Carphone business development director.
Elsewhere in Dixons Carphone’s services team, Carphone Warehouse veteran of 22 years, Bob Sweetlove is to step down from his role as GM of CPW Business in order to ‘persue other opportunities.’ Joining the team is Telefonica’s UK sales and services director Feilim Mackle, who’ll be taking up the role of CEO of services at Dixons Carphone.
Commenting online, Mackle posted, ‘A fond farewell to the wonderful O2, and an excited hello to Dixons Carphone and Seb James. Looking forward to the journey ahead!’
Dixons Carphone announced last year that it is looking to durastically expand its services division with the intention of reaching £1b of service revenue per annum. Outside of the reshuffle, this has included a gradual role out of business services being provided in store and a revamping of their partner portal.
