A slim slider from LG, called the KG290, is expected to hit retail soon.
It bears a resemblance to a Samsung slider and packs in stock-standard features, covering all the basics people want in a phone. These include a 1.3-megapixel camera with digital zoom, a slot for a microSD card for more memory, an MP3 player, Bluetooth and an FM radio.
Other functions include tri-band technology, voice recorder and USB compatibility. On-board memory is just 5MB. The slider is expected to sell for free on £35 tariffs and Orange will be taking the device.
