Sunny signals
The first solar-powered Bluetooth headset is on its way. Finnish manufacturer Iqua has launched the BHS-603 SUN, which can be charged when it catches direct sunlight using integrated solar cells and operating time is unlimited when the device is in direct sunlight.

The headset is night-time friendly too, as it can be charged using a mini USB charger. It is based on Iqua’s BHS-603 headset, which is a best seller for the manufacturer and is available from The Carphone Warehouse.

Iqua has teamed up with solar energy company Suntrica to come up with the headset.

The BHS-603 SUN is expected to reach the UK in Q3 this year.
