3 introduces unlimited music service
3 has launched an unlimited music service that offers unlimited access to eight genre-based music stations. Called Non Stop Music, users can get access for 24 hours to the eight channels for 49p. The genres range from classical to dance, and the channels run on a four hour loop. The music will be updated every week.
3 marketing director John Penberthy-Smith said. ‘At 3 we thrive on providing our customers with the most innovative and exciting services on demand for the best price. The new 24 hour streaming will I’m sure be hugely popular with our customers. Our other music services such as MusicStore and dual downloads have set the pace for the market.’
Non Stop Music was developed in partnership with Ericsson.
The mobile industry has become inundated with music offers. Nokia has just announced a service called Comes With Music, on top of its already existing Music Store. Other offers include Vodafone’s MusicStation and iTunes on the Apple iPhone.
