Nokia signs deal with The Cloud
Nokia has signed a deal with Wi-Fi provider The Cloud to give its customers free access to the Nokia Music Store when in any of The Cloud’s 7,500 hotspots.
Users will be able to connect to the manufacturer’s Music Store to download tracks via their laptop or directly through a Nokia N81 or N95 8GB handset through Wi-Fi.
Users must select ‘Wi-Fi Zone – The Cloud’ as an access point to start browsing and can purchase individual tracks for 80p or albums from £8.
The Cloud’s Wi-Fi hotspots can be found in areas such as McDonalds, Coffee Republic, BAA airports and across London’s Square Mile.
Nokia Music regional manager for UK and Ireland, Richard Sandford said: ‘We are committed to offering the best possible experience for Nokia Music Store users.’
Orange also recently signed a deal with The Cloud to give its users access to the Wi-Fi provider's hotspots.
