O2 appoints new head of music
O2 UK has appointed Matt Ward as its new head of music.
He will be responsible for music strategy, music services and the management of O2’s music customer propositions – which include The 02 centre and the O2 Wireless festival.
Ward joins with a background in both mobile content development and the wider music industry. He previously worked at Mobix Interactive, where he was head of the consumer proposition team responsible for the creation, development and management of consumer-focused mobile live services
Prior to his time at Mobix, Ward gained seven years music industry experience rising to business and digital Manager for Kickin Music, a long running UK independent label.
