Motorola's first music phone

Motorola will make its first foray into the increasingly crowded arena of the music phone with the launch of the ROKR E8, which promises ‘talk to music in one touch’.

The handset features a ‘FastScroll’ navigation wheel to take users from music player, to phone to imaging device via one button.

The quad band, GPRS/EDGE device comes with a radio, built-in speaker, a two megapixel camera and 2GB of internal memory that can be expanded to 4GB.

As well as a handy 3.5mm headphone jack, the E8 is the first Motorola phone to have a haptic touch pad to give users vibrating feedback.

Availiability of the E8 has been given as 'Q1 2008'. Pricing of the handset and network deals are also unconfirmed at the moment.
