Nokia and Motorola announce new mobile phones at CES
Nokia announced some additions to its product line-up. The Finnish manufacturer unveiled the N93i, N76 (right) and the Nokia 6131.
The Nokia N93i comes with a 3.3-megapixel camera, an advanced video camera and music and video players. The N76 is a music-focused handset with the option of adding an external 2GB of memory. The phone is 3G and has a two-megapixel camera.
Motorola concentrated on demonstrating the music features on its new handsets. The manufacturer showcased its ROKR E8 (right) music phone as well as music features on its WSeries handsets, the new W230 and W270. The Motorola ROKR E8 is a GPRS phone with a two-megapixel camera and has 2GB of internal memory and an external memory card slot. The handset can switch between music mode and photo mode, with the keys changing to provide one-button access to the most used features, such as a play key for music and a zoom key for the camera.
Meanwhile, Samsung’s demos were focused on designer handsets with the Giorgio Armani phone on show. The manufacturer also showcased the Serenata luxury phone, designed by Bang & Olufsen.
