O2 announces four major appointments

New O2 CEO Ronan Dunne has made two more significant appointments, filling the vacant customer director and HR director roles.

It was also announced today that Ben Dowd and Steven Shurrock will share the sales director position following Mark Stansfeld’s role change, as Mobile exclusively revealed last week.

Dunne’s third and fourth high profile appointments sees Tim Sefton unveiled as customer director and Ann Pickering as HR Director.

Sefton takes over from Cath Keers in carrying out the key role of developing the company's brand and customer strategy. Meanwhile Pickering’s’ task will focus on O2 UK's employee strategy and welfare.

Dunne said: ‘I am delighted to welcome four new people to the UK board who have all helped build and develop our business to become the UK's leading mobile phone operator.

'Recruiting from within recognises their huge contribution to date. Their experience and capabilities will prove invaluable in their new roles.’
