Phones 4u add broadband areas to stores
Phones 4u has revealed it will be placing special broadband areas in stores in a move that reflects the retailer’s growing emphasis on selling broadband packages.
The refurbishment work will take place over the next few months. It is thought stores will also be given a ‘new look’ as well as the insertion of broadband areas.
News of the changes come soon after it emerged that Phones4u are trailing the selling of Sky packages in midlands stores, for which staff are being specially trained.
Phones 4u Marketing Director, Jim Slater, said: ‘In continuing to strive to meet our consumers' needs, Phones 4u will be devoting more space in store to broadband over the next few months, where we will be offering a wide range of fixed and mobile broadband solutions to our customers.
‘We are currently looking at a number of solutions that will allow us to display the extensive range of mobile data packages that will be available, in a way that is clear, concise and easy to understand. Our highly trained staff will also be on hand to discuss with our customers their precise broadband requirements, and offer a package that is right for them.’
