Vodafone struggling to sell broadband
Vodafone’s entry into the home broadband market is proceeding at a snail’s pace – if Christmas figures are anything to go by.
The operator sold less than thirty broadband internet connections through its own retail stores in December, according to detailed internal data seen by Mobile. Nationally, only 29 Vodafone At Home packages were sold during the month.
The operator had a target of 7,250 connections during December, but it only reached 0.4% of that, according to the data. However, sales of Vodafone at Home via the website are not included in these figures.
Vodafone’s press office said it did not recognise the figures, but refused to give more detail.
