iPhone dock from Altec Lansing
Altec Lansing has launched what it describes as the first ever ‘works with iPhone’ docking system.
As well as being compatible with iPhones, the speaker system works with iPods and has a standard auxiliary-in jack for connecting MP3 players.
The T612 gives priority to calls by pausing the music allowing users to take calls. Once the call is completed, the music resumes playing the same song in the same place.
Neodymium speakers and XdB bass-enhancement technology produce a good quality sound, and an internal GSM shield stops it from picking up that annoying buzzing noise that mobiles can cause.
The device also comes with a wireless remote, so users can shuffle songs, fast-forward, rewind and control the bass, treble, and volume. It will be available in April for £139 (inc VAT).
