‘O2 professional services builds on the pedigree heritage of the corporate team and will allow us to drive deeper engagement with our customers and take advantage of new revenue opportunities.’
The launch of the new professional services team follows the announcement of a lucrative contract for O2.
The operator has done a deal with Saint-Gobain, one of the world’s top 100 industrial corporations, to provide voice, BlackBerry and other mobile data services to users in the UK and Ireland.
The deal will see approximately 6,000 connections transferred to O2.
Ian Collinson of Saint-Gobain said: ‘The relationships that have been established over the last few months are a credit to both teams and O2 have clearly demonstrated the trust and confidence that we look for in a business partnership.’
